Building resilient workforces, in less than 10 minutes per day
We have spent 20 years building ways of connecting with each other and building on our ability to work from anywhere. In the process we have spent very little time teaching people the importance of pause and reflection. The reason most people feel a high level of stress today (80% of employees, according to Gallup) is that we are rarely unplugging from electronics or taking breaks from work. We even eat lunch at our desks. When we do turn away from work, we immediately turn to our phones to manage busy lives and family. This is not sustainable. Human beings need to pause to reduce the Cortisone (stress hormone) pulsing through our bodies.
In this interactive presentation, we will learn about the science behind resiliency and mindful practices and explore the impact of multi-tasking and device addiction. Then we will introduce simple practices to improve any workflow – to move from reactive to responsive.
